Pocket Bio:

Elaine McCluskey is a writer from Dartmouth, N.S., who has published three short-story collections and two novels. She won the Other Voices short story contest and the Pottersfield Portfolio story contest, and placed second in the Fish international short story contest in Ireland, which had 1,600 entries. She was a Journey Prize finalist. She won the Bill Percy award, the Saturday Night diamond contest, and has had her work anthologized in subTerrain 25th Anniversary Issue, and Gaspereau Gloriatur Volume II Prose, among others. She has had work featured in nearly two dozen journals, including Geist, subTerrain, The Antigonish Review, The Dalhousie Review, The Fiddlehead, Room, Riddle Fence and others. She was a finalist for the John and Margaret Savage Award, and she has had two works on the ReLit long list.
